Today I stood in front of Calvary Church admiring the completed universal access and it suddenly occurred to me that you and your crew were no longer there. Gone was the ugly dumpster, gone was the awful orange fence and gone was the scaffolding. Observant of me, wasn't it? But what really struck me was that also gone were your wonderful crew. What a special group of men, including yourself, who worked so hard and skillfully to restore our lovely church. Gone were the friendly hellos, the ready smiles and the pleasant conversations. You and your men were always cheerful, always polite and courteous. You all exuded incredible patience! You made the whole restoration experience so very easy for us.
Calvary Church and what goes on inside are very dear to my heart. It is here that I have been supported and sustained during my darkest hours and it is here that I have celebrated some of my greatest joys. I thank you all for making our worship space so beautiful. You have restored a space that enhances the entire worship experience and for that I shall always be grateful.
Thank you again for a job well done!
